Match report from Richard Turner. A depleted Worc side fought well getting the best of the Bulldogs over the top boards. Terry Pountney was gifted a win when all his opponent needed to do was make a holding move. On board one trench warfare led to a closed position and a draw. There were quick wins for Kevin Day and Richard Turner. Joseph Friar was a piece for three pawns in a complicated position when he lost on time. Pete Seeley fell for a trap and lost his queen early on. Maureen Clarke and Tony Taylor battled on trying to secure the draw on the day before succumbing.
