Nottinghamshire win MCCU u-140 title!
The crucial match between Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire was played 13 March. Nottinghamshire won 9-7, going to the top of the table.
At the first match in March, Staffordshire shoot tothe top of the table with an emphatic win against Shropshirehire.
In February,Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire win matches to put Nottinghamshire second in the table.
Returning tothe fray in 2010, Worcestershire go to top of the table with a home win against Derbyshire,but Staffordshire have a match in hand. Meanwhile Nottinghamshire thrashed Shropshire.
On 12 December, Nottinghamshire lost to Warwickshire and Worcestershire drew with leaders Staffordshire.
On 28 November, Worcestershire beat Warwickshire to go second in the table. Lincolnshire withdrew becauseof the difficulty of fielding teams. With fewer than half their fixtures completed,the match with Staffordshire has been ruled void and is in the table only forcompleteness.
First results showed a good win for Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire and a narrowwin by Staffordshire. Staffordshire further increased their lead with a decisive away win against Warwickshire. Worcestershire were the first side to secure a home win this season.
