By playing in the competitions hosted on this website you agree that your name, chess grade and your membership status with the English Chess Federation (ECF) may be published on this website for the purposes of recording the results of the competitions. You also agree that such information will be passed to the ECF, the governing body, for rating purposes, and published on their website.

• Thu 28 Dec 2023 to Sun 7 Jan 2024. Caplin Hastings International Chess Congress at Horntye Park Sports Complex, Bohemia Road, Hastings TN341EX. Hastings Masters, New Year tournaments, Con Power Christmas Tournaments, and Hastings Weekend tournaments.
• Fri-Sun, 12-14 Jan 2024 Shropshire Chess Congress at The Wrekin Housing Group, Colliers Way, Old park, Telford TF3 4AW. Open, Major (u1900), Intermediate (u1700), Minor (u1500), 5 rounds, time control 100 min + 10 sec.
• Sat and Sun 17 & 18 Feb 2024. Coventry Open at The Allen Higgs Centre, Allard Wy Coventry, CV3 1HW. Open, Major u2000, Intermediate u1750, and Minor u1500 tournaments. Five rounds, time control 80 min + 10 sec .
• Fri 19 to 24 Feb 2024. Cambridge International Open Chess Tournament. Nine rounds, Swiss, FIDÉ rated, 90 min + 30 sec.
