Jan. Worcestershire proceeded to the MCCU Open and Minor semi-final and withdrew from the u180 section.
27 Oct. Shropshire withdraw from the u140.
1 Sep. Greater Manchester enter Minor-Open and u160 with a new captain for Open-Minor team and captain to be appointed for the u160 team.
30 Aug. Nottinghamshire will enter all except Open section.
29 Aug. Lincolnshire are reported to have entered Minor, u120 and u100.
29 Aug. Staffordshire are reported to have entered Open, u140, u120, u100.
28 Aug. Leicestershire have entered the Minor and u100 competitions, but not u160.
28 Aug. Worcestershire have entered Minor and u120 competitions, and will also enter a u180 team if there is only one other entry.
27 Aug. Warwicksire have entered five teams: Minor, u180, u160, u120, u100.
25 Aug. Colleagues at Lincoln report that Peter Sherlock, Inter-counties controller, has been taken ill and is in hospital. I am sure all will wish him a quick return to health.
23 Aug. Shropshire have entered the u140 competition.
13 Aug. Derbyshire have entered the Minor competition.
5 Aug. John Grasham reports. MCCU county team tournament rules were amended, at the AGM. The unconfirmed minutes show delegates agreed an amendment to the county team tournament rules and require team captains to remind players to turn mobiles off or to silent in playing halls.
