5 Mar. Lincs just beat Worcs in the final match to claim a third national place.
27 Feb. Notts beat Worcs in a close match to take the Midlands title.
6 Feb. Lincs gain their first win, against Warks, presaging a close tussle for third national place.
9 Jan. Warks, at home, gain their first match points with a win over Leics
5 Dec. Leics, at home, have another narrow win beating champions Lincs and Notts also at home thumped Warks. Both winning teams share the lead.
21 Nov. Leics won narrowly playing Worcs away in the mior counties to join Notts at the top.
31 Oct. Notts beat Lincs comfortably (for Notts).
11 Oct. The local Derby between Warks and Worcs gave a narrow victory to Worcs in the first Minor Counties' fixture.
5 Sep. Staffordshire have entered for the Open and being the only county to do so will be nominated for the national stage of the competition, but unlike last year are not competing in the Midlands Counties Championship. Derbyshire and Greater Manchester have also withdrawn.
