Shrops u140 and Warks u120 win national honours
13 Jul. Surrey won the county team championship and Midlands counties secured two national titles: Shropshire in the u140 and Warwickshire the u120.
15 Jun. Notts lose out to Essex in u160 title chase.
8 Jun. Shrops u140 are the first Midlands team into the finals with a win against Hants. Also in their final are Warwickshire u120 who beat Kent and Nottinghamshire who were giftyed their match by Essex. In the Minor Lincs go down to Essex; in the u160 Warks lose to Lancs
18 May. In the senior tournament, Staffs lost to Kent despite Lawrence Cooper's fine win against GM Neil McDonald. In the other competitions the Midlands are represented by Lincs in the Minor, Notts and Warks in the u160; Shrops in the u140; Staffs and Warks in the u120 and Notts got a free ride into the u100 semi-final.
27 Apr. In the u180, Notts make it into the national stages proper with a win on board-count over Essex. In the u140, Shrops also defeated an Essex team. Click on the scores in the results columnfor details of the matches.
24 Feb. The draw for the 2013 championships has been published. Please note the correct postal address and code for the final's venue on 13 July is: Trident Centre, Warwick CV34 6SW.
