2010-11 Season County Matches Archived News

10 November. The Webmaster has been informed that the list of ungraded players will not be published. Any queries about the eligibility of ungraded players should be made to the Controller.

7 October. The webmaster has been notified of two re-arranged dates for matches so far. The fixtures list page and associated pdf have been altered. A new web page listing venues recently used by county sides has been collated by Julie Johnson and published. Please notify the webmaster of additions or corrections to the fixtures list or venues web pages.

26 September. The controller has published some interpretations of the rules (adobe pdf file). These interpretations include reference to electronic devices, submission of match results, which captain has responsibility for arranging venues, and eligibility of players.

13 September. Entries to the sections have been announced and the fixtures lists published. Both Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire are fielding sides in every section of the competition. The same number of teams compete. Nottinghamshire joins the 'big boys' in the Open Championship and add a team in the U100 so Warwickshire will have to defend their title. Entries are shown below with defending champions' names capitalised.

28 June. At the MCCU AGM, Julie Johnson has again agreed to control the MCCU Inter-Counties Matches working with the Director of Events, Cyril Johnson.
